Top Rated videos gain more visibility on Clipta Video Search

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

Clipta now offers Top rated videos on home page Clipta. In addition, we have added a link to the more extensive list of Top Rated Videos on Clipta. These videos have been rated by YOU, and show firsthand how our V-Rate system will offer users the best videos on the Web. Videos that are ‘V-rated’ will appear on the first page to help others see what you are watching.

You can now see how your viewing behavior influences what is shown on Clipta. As you search, browse, find and discover new videos you find entertaining, Click on the “V-Rate” button, and watch your favorite videos gain more popularity.

Thanks to all the viewers who contribute to our “V-Rate” system. Clipta will continue to work on delivering the most relevant, high quality, and entertaining videos to you and the world.

Clipta Video Search attends 2008 S.V.O.D.

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Clipta Video Search staff and I attended the Fourth Annual Silicon Valley Open Doors (SVOD) event on November 20th-21st.  The SVOD conference assembled a diverse audience of venture capitalists and specialists representing premier venture capital funds along with early state companies and entrepreneurs.

As soon as we arrived to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, we were greeted with anxious and open arms (special thanks to Rebecca for all her help!). Whether we were participating in the exhibition, listening to powerful speakers, or enjoying the delightful buffet, Clipta Staff was thankful for all the interesting events put on by SVOD.

I was especially thrilled to  met with an array of technology experts including Guy Kawasaki (Managing Director of Garage Technology Ventures), Ester Dyson (Director of 23 and Me), Daniel Rosensweig (Operating Principal, Quadrangle Group LLC; formerly COO of Yahoo!; President of CNET Networks; CEO of ZDNet, Inc), and many others.

We were excited and honored to exhibit at SVOD this year, and thank all of those who showed interest in Clipta Video Search and its products.

Check out some photos from the event:
