Clipta Launches French Video Search Platform

This week Clipta launched a new localized platform: French Clipta. Now all our French speaking users can watch videos from their own country and in your their own language.

Serge Doubinski, Clipta’s President and Co-Founder, said “this launch is another step to personalize and internationalize the video search experience, and another effort to showcase the breadth of content discoverable in our search engine.”

Users are now able to search for French video content at http://fr.clipta.com and upload French-language videos to Clipta Community. In addition, Clipta users now have access to a complete video library that includes content from leading local providers like Dailymotion and Wat.tv.

Clipta’s March C-Rate Report: Top 10 Video Sites in the U.S.

The results turned out quite different from February’s list . The biggest differences were Veoh switching spots with Metacafe (falling from 2nd to 6th place), and MegaVideo dropping from 7th to 10th place.Clipta’s staff favorite most viewed video for March is Metacafe’s Unbelievable!! Check This out Man . Clipta releases report: Top 10 online video sites in US

With more video destinations emerging from every corner of the web, the online video space has become more diverse, and ultimately more difficult to navigate through. As a result, Clipta video search released its first version of C-Rate yesterday, a rating system designed for online video sites. The editorial team and engineers at Clipta put together its first month-to-month list of the “Top 10 video sites in the U.S. in February 2009”. You can find videos from all these sites at Clipta Video Search.

OBAMA….OBAMA…..OBAMA

Yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama was inaguarated as the 44th president of the United State of America. Millions around the world were glued to their tv sets or their monitors. I spent my time on Clipta News so that I could see clip highlights rather than watching all the boring stuff in between.

Everyone is interested in the every day life of the Obama’s. They are of course the most famous people on the planet. Even the Obama’s trying to find a dog has become an important topic for Americans. Its pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I can care less what kind of dog he gets. Nevertheless, people are overly concerned with what dog the Obama’s should get, and just recently a headline story has caught my attention. A little boy in Pennsylvania is offering his puppy to the Obamas. He even wrote a letter attached with a picture of the dog, and it is now in the hands of a senator that is promising to deliver it to the Obama’s. Pure garbage news that should not even see the light of day unless they actually decided to accept the dog from the boy. Even then it should still be as important as a guy in Texas deciding to name his diner after ex-president Bush. If you want your 15 minutes of fame just call up your local TV station and let them know your are offering stuff to the Obama’s.
