Live Video Streams and Video Commentary now available on Clipta

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

In efforts to bring more conversation and live interaction on Clipta, we have implemented a new video commenting feature and live video streams powered by Justin.tv. You can now create video comments as you watch videos on any play page on Clipta.

Video comments that you make will be broadcasted and automatically saved to your Justin.tv channel once you are finished recording. Once a video comment is saved, an image and link to the video will automatically appear in the “About” section of your Justin.tv personal channel.

In order to make live video comments, the user must have an active account with Justin.tv. Sign up with Justin.tv and start making your own live video commentary.

In addition to the live video commentary service, users can now access constantly updated live video streams directly from Justin.Tv on Clipta’s home page.

As always, we appreciate the feedback, questions, and comments of our users. Stay tuned for more live video services and features on Clipta, and let us know what you think!

This week Clipta launched a new localized platform: French Clipta. Now all our French speaking users can watch videos from their own country and in your their own language.

Serge Doubinski, Clipta’s President and Co-Founder, said “this launch is another step to personalize and internationalize the video search experience, and another effort to showcase the breadth of content discoverable in our search engine.”

Users are now able to search for French video content at http://fr.clipta.com and upload French-language videos to Clipta Community. In addition, Clipta users now have access to a complete video library that includes content from leading local providers like Dailymotion and Wat.tv.
